Books for Kids Giving Kids in Need a chance to Read

Who We Work With.

Serving children from primarily low-income families, Books for Kids collaborates with primary schools, tutoring programs, and other preschool programs, libraries, migrant centers, homeless shelters, and teen parenting programs to improve the reading and language skills of at-risk children.

What have we Achieved.

Thanks to the many schools and companies who have run Book Drives, and our Book Bins in Bookshops. Each year Books For Kids has collected over 55,000 new books, which have been distributed nationally to over 12,000 children.

Each year we run over 120 motivational reading events along with numerous literary workshops conducted by leading Australian Childrens Authors

Book Distribution Program.

Provides new books (up to five books to each child per year) to read, share, and cherish.
